Welcome to TLC Nursing & Homecare Plus Ltd

TLC Nursing & Homecare Plus Ltd is a nursing and domiciliary care agency based in Wrexham in North East Wales.

It was formed in 1989 by Paul Murphy, a registered nurse since 1985, as TLC Nursing and has been providing care in and around the Wrexham area since it's formation.

The aim of TLC & Homecare Plus Ltd is to offer a service that provides homecare to adults in their own homes.

Our service user groups will be over eighteen years of age and will require care because of either a physical / mental disability, illness or because of the processes of aging.

We are based in Wrexham and cover a radius of approximately 15 miles from our base. Larger care packages outside of a 15 mile radius may be considered, however normal travel charges will be applied.

 

Esther Kamau
Director, Responsible Individual

Esther is originally from Kenya. Relocated to UK in 2003 as a trained Registered Nurse. Has experience of more than 25 years in Nursing. She specializes in dementia, Gastroenterology and palliative care. She holds BSN in Nursing and Masters in Palliative care.

 

 

Veronica Howell
Registered Manager (Director)

Veronica Is originally from Zambia and she relocated to UK in 2002. She has nursing experience of more than 30 years and an extensive experience in Orthopedics, dementia care and care of the elderly. Hold BSN in Nursing.

 

Cumulatively, Esther and Veronica brings more than 50 years’ Nursing experience.

Meaningful activities

Nayla is our much-loved TLC office dog and an important part of our wellbeing approach. She is calm, friendly, and enjoys the company of everyone she meets.

Person-centred care- Voice, choice, and control

For clients who love dogs but are no longer able to care for one themselves, Nayla can be borrowed from the office to provide companionship and comfort. Her visits often bring smiles, gentle interaction, and happy memories.

Emotional Wellbeing

Nayla’s friendly nature and love of people help us bring a little extra joy and emotional wellbeing to those we support.

Nayla’s visits are used as a wellbeing activity to support emotional comfort, social interaction, and positive mood. Participation is optional and based on individual preferences, with consent obtained and recorded in line with care plans and safeguarding procedures.

Safeguarding -Risk-assessed, proportionate practice

All visits are risk-assessed, optional, and carried out with client consent in line with individual care plans and safeguarding procedures.
